The Biospheric Standard
Qualified, or not yet.
The Standard asks whether a hospitality operation meets the minimum requirements to be listed as Biospheric. Passing is binary. Li — the Biospheric Coherence Index — is a separate, continuous measure of how coherently the operation functions in its place.
Existing certifications (GSTC-aligned, EarthCheck, LEED, and others) are evidence. They do not automatically confer Biospheric qualification. A high Li does not list a property; a failed critical safeguard can keep it off the marketplace.
